How Our Microschool Works

Future Makers Microschool provides the community homeschooling families are looking for along with the individualized approach they value. We combine academic excellence and emotional safety through project-based learning, giving families the homeschool support they need to thrive.

Why?: Children who learn through creativity, thrive in smaller groups, love hands-on projects, or are recovering from difficult school experiences consistently rediscover their joy in learning and build genuine confidence through real achievement.

Morning Block 9:00AM-12:00PM Ages 6–8

Daily Structure:


Drop-off & Community Building (30 minutes): Mindfulness and social-emotional learning to foster a sense of community for homeschooling families.

Literacy Focus (60 minutes): Phonics, reading comprehension, creative writing, and storytelling that supports homeschool learning.

Mathematics Exploration (45 minutes): Number sense and problem-solving with hands-on manipulatives to enhance project-based learning.

Themed Learning Adventures (45 minutes): Rotating daily themes to engage students.


Daily Learning Themes:


Monday - STEAM Science: Hands-on experiments and nature exploration.

Tuesday - Living Museum: Interactive history and cultural studies.

Wednesday - Young Entrepreneurship: Basic business concepts for future innovators.

Thursday - Book Club: Stories that inspire innovation and creativity.

Friday - Choice Projects: Student-led exploration and community sharing, promoting homeschool support.


Founding Family Rate (expires September 1, 2026):

5 days: $500/month | 4 days: $400/month | 3 days: $300/month


Regular Rate (starting September 1, 2026):

5 days: $600/month | 4 days: $500/month | 3 days: $400/month


$250 Annual Registration Fee due at enrollment.

Advanced Literacy (60 minutes): Research skills, Literacy exploration, Persuasive writing, Presentation skills, Book Clubs

Mathematics (45 minutes): Core Curriculum plus finance and real-world problem solving

Daily Project Focus (45 minutes): See themes below

Pick-up & Community Building (30 minutes): Social-emotional learning and peer connection within our community for homeschooling families.


Daily Learning Themes:

Wednesday - Entrepreneurship: Business plan development, Kids Market prep

Thursday - Book Club: Novels that inspire innovation and creativity

Flexible Scheduling Options

Our location inside Positively Arts Studio, paired with their Artist Clubhouse, allows families to build a full day schedule that incorporates both academics and arts classes.


Full Day Options:


  • Morning 9:00AM-12:00PM Future Makers (Age 6-8)
  • Lunch (All Ages) 12:00PM – 12:30PM 
  • + Afternoon 12:30PM-3:30PM Artist Clubhouse (movement electives: acting, vocals, podcast/voiceover)


  • Morning Artist Clubhouse 9:00AM-12:00PM (movement electives: acting, vocals, podcast/voiceover)
  • Lunch (All Ages) 12:00PM – 12:30PM 
  • + Afternoon 12:30-3:30PM Future Makers Microschool (Age 9-13)
