I'm Melissa Flaxman, a dedicated educator and entrepreneur with a passion for creative, art-focused, and research-based education. With a Master's in Special Education and transformative experience in the field, I've embarked on a mission to revolutionize education through innovation and inclusivity.

Background and Experience:

• Founder of Future Makers: Established Future Makers in Las Vegas, dedicated to providing equal access to engaging and innovative education.
• Educational Entrepreneurship: Spearheaded the Educators as Entrepreneurs movement with Future Makers, advocating for educators to explore entrepreneurship opportunities. 
• Microschool Initiative: Initiated the establishment of on of the first microschools in 2020. Currently leading organizations like Positively Arts in starting their microschool, emphasizing creativity and inclusivity in educational settings.
• Community Partnerships: Collaborated with organizations such as Market In The Alley, the Discovery Museum, Life Is Beautiful, First Friday, The Girl Scouts, and Positively Arts, designing inclusive workshops and curriculum to inspire and engage young minds.
